SAINT ANDREW STUDENTS LEARN RIGHT AWAY THAT
BELONGING MEANS SHARING. BELONGING ENTAILS GIVING.
The Catholic Church teaches that all people are endowed with dignity as children of God. Our students represent a diversity of ethnicities and faith backgrounds. Our school uniform and daily prayers give children the comfort of belonging and knowing they are united in purpose and intrinsic worth.
Our students are taught to live out their faith by taking part in a variety of community service projects throughout the year. These projects make them mindful of the many ways in which we are called to help the suffering—both locally and internationally.
We owe a great deal of our success to the support of our families. Our dedicated Home and School Association connects families to the school and helps fund wonderful programs for our students. We host many events throughout the year to honor and thank the special people in our students’ lives including Special Relatives Day, Thanksgiving and CSW luncheons, and Men Who Matter Most.
Once a month, our students leave their peer groups and reconvene in family groups of mixed grades. In these sessions, 8th grade students learn leadership skills as they take charge of lessons. Our younger students benefit from the guidance and example of their older classmates.
Our dedicated school counselor provides continual guidance and support for all students when needed and teaches students how to effectively grow as children of God. Our parish SPICE program provides funding that allows us to meet the needs of a great variety of students.
